Let’s Collaborate
In addition to working with psychotherapy clients, we love doing media collaborations and supporting the development of new therapists through trainings, workshops, and group and individual supervision. My own high conflict divorce turned into a brand new career path at 40 – one that began with asking "why do therapists handle domestic violence so badly?" and "how can I teach them to do less harm around this demographic?". 12 years later, I’ve completed a PhD and developed trainings and workshops for therapists on identifying and working with intimate partner violence, particularly in couples therapy and in working with high conflict divorce/custody. In my two part training series I support therapists in gaining insight and understanding of power and control dynamics, how clients’ social locations and contexts (and a therapist’s) can highlight and hide how power is wielded. These trainings share my personal framework for this work that therapists can integrate into their own approach to therapy. A third part, consisting of only case consultation can be added to this training upon request. Additional trainings available are: What Therapists Need to Know When Working with Clients in High Conflict Divorce Scenarios, Intimate Partner Violence: Working with Survivors, Working with Clients Who Have Caused or Are Causing Harm, and Doing the Work: Anti-racism Training for White Therapists Deconstructing Whiteness.

I've had the pleasure of working on various collaborations throughout the years – public speaking engagements, media appearances and features, content collabs, and more. I'm always excited to discuss anything in the general realm of psychology and relationships, and am available as an expert witness on high conflict divorce and custody cases with history or allegations of domestic violence. Whether you're looking for clinical commentary for an article, a bold voice for your podcast, or want to create something totally different – I'd love to hear about it and see how we can partner.

During clinical supervision, I work one-on-one with practicum students, recent MFT graduates, and associate licensed clinicians to support and guide their professional development. I also provide meta-supervision for therapists who are pursuing their AAMFT approved supervisor status. After navigating my own path of pursuing my PhD for over a decade, I've become passionate about helping fellow therapists discover their unique strengths and how to apply them in practice.
